I’ve curated a retrospective exhibition under the name “Tabassar – Enlighten” in collaboration with manmade studio covering the main achievements of the late Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah (1929-2020)
When I was first asked to curate this retrospective exhibition I immediately thought about treating it like a jewelry exhibition, going after rare photos of significant historical value. I had to go through archives in Russia, Germany and the UK. I also received many valuable contributions but I had to make the selection faithful to the objective, trying to tell a brief highlight of the rich life of Kuwait’s late ruler Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.

My favorite photo is this one taken in China during the invasion, it was the most valuable one I ever purchased, I got it because it shows a deep concern of a man for his country.
