In 2018, stumbling upon Al-Sayer Al-Qibli Mosque sparked a journey that led me to survey all the old mosques across Kuwait and its suburbs, including Failaka Island. I surveyed more than 30 mosques built between 1772 and 1950, each with its own unique architectural and historical significance.
