Once fertile farmlands, these sacred grounds have endured the ravages of war, leaving behind a haunting imprint of their former glory. Yet, amidst the trials and tribulations, the agricultural traditions of Palestine have emerged as a powerful symbol of resistance and resilience. Today, as we gather to commemorate their legacy, we honor the enduring spirit of the Palestinian people and their unyielding determination to safeguard their land and culture. Through this installation, we aim to shed light on the vital role of farming in the Palestinian cultural fabric. By showcasing the origins of these plants, we hope to foster a deeper appreciation for their enduring legacy and honor the spirit of Palestinian agriculture, which serves as a symbol of resistance and cultural preservation.
